This property is located in a local surfing beach named "Los Almendros". The winter months are the 'high" season with awesome waves consistent throughout the years, yet good waves are consistent most of the year; but expect many days with small ripples or flat seas during late winter, spring and summer.
How to get here?
Driving about 1 hour to an 1:15 from San Juan and after you exit HWY-22 and continue on road PR-2 to the town of Camuy, at the intersection with McDonald's and Wendy's you make a right turn going North and as you start going downhill towards the shore, the huge twin blue (sea & sky) sight of the horizon anticipates where you are going... At the shore road turn West and it is the 1st residential street facing North.
The location is less than 5 minutes from PR-2. The town of Camuy is mostly a residential town with all the shops and services nearby. Shopping (Home Depot, Sam's Club, Sears, JC Penneys, Toy's R Us, Walgreens, cinemas, etc.) are nearby, horseback ridding, restaurants and other beaches are available close by.
Our inspection revealed that the house lost the frontal facia skirt and some roofing material at the sea facing side of the structure allowing water to enter the property, a "chimney facade" that worked a camouflaged ventilation shaft was torn by the storm and needs to be repaired. The landscaping also suffered damage. Structurally the property seemed sound and easily repairable. Yet, as in every real estate transaction in Puerto Rico, we recommend and advise that it is your right as a buyer to hire the services of a professional to inspect any property before purchase.
