Well I’m back inspired and ready to go. Puerto Rico Basketball finals are just around the corner and the games are hot. How hot, you ask ? Losers are beating winners , winners are beating losers, is just a mad house, no telling who’s going to win. Heck it’s like Politics........ ooopppps no politics here, sorry..... Now is Puerto Rico hot or what. Ricky Martin meets with Obama, J Lo ( is she a cougar) almost gets bit by Pitbull ( a guy that sings), and once again Puerto Rico's contestant wins the Belleza Latina competition.
On financial issues, the rich getting wealthy and the poor hanging in there, and oh the middle class, ahhh it’s in the middle. The housing market is like a regular heartbeat - alive then still, alive then still, alive then still, you know lub-dub, or tac tac or dam lop or tuntun, you get the picture.

Well here we are, it's March and spring is just around the corner. Back in the mainland Baseball pre-season games have started, and basketball is well on it's way. March madness isn't that mad, and I want to go to the beach. Spring break will soon be here, so let me give you an idea of all the different beaches here on the Island.
Flameco Beach
There are close to 300 beaches in Puerto Rico. The Government of Puerto Rico officially recognized 248 of these. In Puerto Rico there are 78 municipalities of which 44 have a coastline. So if you'd like to try a different beach every week of the year welcome to it. Beside these beaches there are also smaller more private beaches. Lets name a few :
in Rincon - ( Domes Beach, Corcega Beach , Tres Palmas) , in Cabo Rojo- ( Isla Ratones, Boqueron, Combate) in Guanica ( Gilligan's Island, La Jungla, Tamarindo Beach ) In Isabela ( Blue Hole Beach, Jobos Beach, Middles Beach) in Luquillo ( Monserrate Beach , La Pared Beach, Playa Azul Beach)
These are just to name a few. Surfing, scuba diving, paddle boarding, snorkling, sailing, and sun bathing, beach volleyball, people watching, there is just too much to do, and I wanted to vacation.

Yeah, that's right parachuting. Life is just to good to spend it all in an office or infront of a tv set. Yes, she does have an attitude. I'm talking about Irene, "Hurricane Irene". What's her attitude problem, well she brought it on with the eastern side of Puerto Rico. Here she was, just streaming along the Atlantic ocean heading west into the Caribbean Sea. Every one's got their eye on her, understanding that she's just going to skim the Island continuing to go West -Southwest thru the Caribbean Sea and not pay much attention to the Island. When all of a sudden, " looks like she heard how niece it is in Vieques" decides to head North right up the eastern part of the Island.
She's made some damage alright, ruining some farm land and crops in the mountainous areas of the region as well as deciding that this part of the Island needs new roads, so she decides to some cause mud slides that cover or damage many roads. I tell you she has a mind of her own.
It think she got upset that she wasn't paying attention to where she was going, and when she saw that she was off course, just crossed the Island to get back on track with the Atlantic Ocean.
Good news, she messed up just a small region of the Island which has it's charm and paid no attention the rest of the Island. Now that's great news cause that is one of the new developing areas of the Island an possibly one of the best to live in.
